Position Overview
You will handle sophisticated defense matters across medical malpractice, general liability, and/or public entity litigation in a collaborative, well‑supported environment. Attorneys are given real responsibility early, backed by strong mentorship, partners, and dedicated paralegal/law clerk support. You’ll manage cases through all stages of litigation with exposure to strategy, depositions, and trial work.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
Junior: 1–4 years of litigation experience (insurance defense or related preferred).
Lateral: 4+ years of experience in medical malpractice, general liability, or public entity defense.
Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills.
Ability to manage cases independently while working in a team-driven environment.
What’s in it for you
The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
