Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Attorney to handle a large caseload of 50 – 100 active cases. As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients who have been injured due to the negligence or wrongdoing of others. We are looking for a candidate to handle a diverse caseload and provide exceptional legal counsel to our clients.
Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of personal injury cases, including initial client consultations, investigation, negotiation, and litigation.
Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and reliable advice to clients.
Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Collaborate with medical professionals, accident reconstruction experts, and other specialists to build strong cases for clients.
Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
Prepare and present persuasive arguments in court to advocate for clients’ rights and maximize their compensation.
Maintain client confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the State Bar and good standing in the state of North Carolina.
Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
Strong knowledge of personal injury laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to handle a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Demonstrated track record of successful settlements and verdicts in personal injury cases.
