Senior Attorney
with deep experience in
commercial litigation , with a strong emphasis on
insurance bad faith matters . This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who brings
first-chair trial experience
and thrives in a high-performance environment with significant billable expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complex commercial litigation cases from inception through trial and resolution
Serve as first-chair trial counsel in high-exposure matters
Handle sophisticated insurance bad faith claims, including coverage disputes and extra-contractual liability
Draft and argue dispositive motions, manage discovery, and take/defend depositions
Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Develop case strategy and provide high-level client counsel
Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with firm leadership on case execution
Qualifications
8+ years of commercial litigation experience
Proven first-chair trial experience in complex litigation matters
Demonstrated experience handling insurance bad faith cases
Active membership in the Washington State Bar (WSBA)
Strong litigation skills, including motion practice, depositions, and trial leadership
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet elevated billable hour requirements
Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
