Security Officer (Looking to Fill Immediately)
To assist in and maintain a secure working and learning environment for college patrons.
Responsibilities
Perform foot and vehicle patrol of buildings and grounds.
Render assistance in emergency situations.
Assist visitors and help coordinate special functions.
Assist Administrative and Maintenance Departments with daily operations.
Report any incident that may affect the health and well-being of patrons.
Contribute to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.
Support workforce diversity in all its aspects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least six months of part-time or equivalent experience as a Security Officer.
Valid NC Driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Salary
Base salary: $38,964. Salary is non‑negotiable.
