We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team. This non-lawyer position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a professional services environment while contributing to meaningful projects that support the firm's operations and client service delivery.
Essential Duties
Coordinate and assemble signature pages for transactions
Organize matter‑level transactional and diligence documents into closing sets
Assist with review of investor documents and help prepare initial drafts of related tracking spreadsheets
Develop new client checklists to capture bank‑specific requirements for deal closings
Support the knowledge management of the section by inputting and auditing information into deal trackers
Perform assigned factual and/or basic legal research tasks using all available resources including libraries and computer data systems
Complete and provide feedback on training simulations for new attorneys
Assist with developing AI‑enabled workflows and testing outputs of different models
Other Duties
Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. A professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion are required. Prior internship or work experience in a professional office setting is preferred but not required.
Education
Candidates should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in business, communications, finance, marketing, pre‑law or a related field.
Physical Demands
Must be able to move around the office up to 40% of the time to file, make copies, fax, etc. Remains stationary at least 60% of the time. This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer, etc.) on a regular basis. Often required to move documents or files weighing up to 15 lbs. Occasionally required to move documents or files weighing up to 30 lbs. This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the firm attorneys, clients and staff. This position must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.
