Quality Systems Specialist – Hazelwood, MO
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) invites candidates for this position.
Responsibilities
Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to utilize for auditing purposes
Prepares and maintains quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed
Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems
Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation
Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability
Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, and develops a coordinated response for management review and approval
Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management
Works under general direction
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods
3+ years of experience working with AS9100 or similar QMS standard
3+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office Application Suite such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications and/or specifications
3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience conducting site regulatory compliance audits
Travel
Position may require up to 10% travel.
Security Clearance
Requires obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.

Compensation
Summary pay range: $95,200 – $128,800.
