Job Summary
UK HealthCare (UKHC) seeks an experienced and certified IT Project Manager to serve in a senior‑level role within the Project & Portfolio Management Office (PMO). This position is accountable for the efficient delivery of professional IT project services in support of the UK HealthCare Enterprise and its strategic business objectives. The IT Project Manager Senior will lead complex, enterprise‑wide initiatives requiring frequent collaboration with senior UKHC leadership, clinical and operational stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams. Operating within a highly matrixed environment, this role demands strong interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills, along with the ability to guide large, multidisciplinary teams through a wide range of concurrent work assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Ensure adherence to established UKHC ITS PMO methodologies.
Align project outcomes with enterprise strategy.
Mentor stakeholders and team members in project management principles and tools.
Support development of business cases.
Provide clear, concise project briefings, updates, and status reports suitable for senior leadership review.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Effective operation within a matrixed organization.
Ability to lead and direct others toward goal setting and attainment while managing scope and timelines.
Strong analytical and qualitative research experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
