We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support development efforts within a financial services or asset management environment. This is a fully remote role aligned to EST hours, ideal for a strong independent contributor with deep Python expertise and excellent problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and applications using Python
Work with large datasets to support investment and financial data use cases
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions
Solve complex technical challenges and contribute to ongoing system improvements
Communicate effectively while working independently in a remote environment
Qualifications
7–10 years of experience in Python development
Background in financial services, asset management, or investment management
Strong problem‑solving abilities (technical assessment required)
Proven ability to work independently with strong communication skills
Preferred
Experience with SQL and database technologies
