Job Title
Shipping / Receiving Material Handler
Reports to
Shipping Manager

Non-Exempt; Hourly
Schedule
Monday through Friday; 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm
Job Duties
Receiving incoming products and materials, completing inspection testing and reconciling documentation.
Notifying and delivering products to end users.
Storing raw materials and maintaining FIFO inventory.
Ensuring items are properly tagged before moving locations.
Maintaining order of outbound shipments, staging and labeling.
General housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of dock and inventory areas.
Coordinating with other departments and outside waste disposal vendor.
Performing lift‑truck daily maintenance checks and documentation.
Performing inventory cycle counting, monthly accounting, and reporting.
Conducting physical counts of raw material and tag controls.
Using forklift license (may be required); using FIFO when staging material.
Experience
1–3 years shipping/receiving experience in a fast‑paced environment is a plus.
1–2 years of material handler/fork‑truck experience preferred, but not required.
Plex experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, moving items.
Responding to public address system announcements.
Walking and standing.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Working in a shop environment with dust, noise, uneven floor, drafts, wet conditions, sharp edges, gas fumes, hazardous materials, occasional outdoor work.
Personal Protection Equipment
Wearing safety glasses on the shop floor.
Additional Notes
