Gastroenterologist Physician Weekend Call Coverage Need Near Virginia Beach, Virginia Friday at 5P - Monday at 7A May 1 Start

Jackson and Coker's valued clients just a short drive from Virginia Beach needs GI weekend 24-hour call coverage starting on May 1. The client had a direct contract fall through and is now seeking a reliable physician to help out with the gaps they're now experiencing. While advanced GI coverage (ERCP specifically) is a plus, they're willing to consider any Virginia licensed Gastroenterologist who is available to assist with the specific dates below. Are you available?

Seeking inpatient unrestricted, consult only call coverage on the following dates:
May 1, 2026 (5pm) - May 4, 2026 (7am)
May 29, 2026 (5pm) - June 1, 2026 (7am)
June 12, 2026 (5pm) - June 15, 2026 (7am)
+ Will have ongoing coverage needs in July & ongoing

Details/Requirements Assignment :
Active and unrestricted Virginia license + DEA required
Board Certification required
While covering call: will be covering ED, unrestricted, consult-only coverage
Average daily patient volume: 15 PPD/ (breakdown: 10 admissions, 4 procedures, 2-4 ad on procedures)
100% adult patient population
ERCP is preferred but not required
Current staff mix: 3 employed GIs, no inpatient APP support
Facility detail: Epic EMR, designated trauma center, easy city to fly into
