What You ll Bring to the Role:

• Proven experience in outpatient physical therapy, including evaluations, manual techniques, and therapeutic exercises
• Strong knowledge of orthopaedic, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal dysfunctions
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for conditions such as post-operative care, joint replacements, back pain, balance issues, and more
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaborative care
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach

Nice to Have Skills:

• Training in non-traditional treatment methods or specialized therapies
• Experience with pulmonary or pelvic floor rehabilitation
• Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills for diverse patient populations
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Licensure in Maine (VT licensure or eligibility required)
• Prior outpatient clinic experience preferred but not mandatory

Other Requirements:

• Reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this assignment
• Ability to work Days Monday through Friday with a typical patient ratio of 8/day (Monday-Thursday) and 6 on Friday
• Availability for evaluations and treatments including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional assessments
• Must provide all requested time off upfront; requests after upload will not be approved, with a maximum of 5 days off
• Must have a verified voicemail setup and reliable contact information
• Availability to work during recognized holidays, as clinics are closed on major holidays
• Be prepared for the initial orientation (non-billable hours); OT is paid at a flat hourly rate with no multiplier
• Travel and license reimbursements provided where applicable
