We are currently seeking a Medical Front Desk Representative for a full‑time position at our Port Saint Lucie and Stuart offices. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm and Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with strong customer service skills. Prior medical front desk experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate must be organized, multitasking oriented, motivated, and able to handle a high volume of patients, phone calls, and charts. Must be a self‑starter, have experience with EMR and medical records, and with check‑in/check‑out processes. Willing to learn all aspects of the ENT and Audiology field.
Responsibilities
Providing superior customer service to all patients and guests
Answering multi‑line phones
Greeting patients upon arrival, signing them in, and obtaining insurance information and other necessary data
Providing patients with intake and new‑patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents
Processing payments from patients for co‑pays and uninsured visits
Verifying insurance
Scheduling appointments for new and recurring patients based on physician and PA/NP availability
Maintaining hard‑copy patient records and the files stored in our EHR
Calling patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off‑site services
Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
Requirements
Preferred 1‑year previous experience in a medical practice
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice
The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
The ability to work in a team environment
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Strong computer literacy
Bi‑lingual Spanish speaking is a plus

Physical Demands
Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Responsibilities may also require the incumbent to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 10 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
Salary will be determined based on experience. Salary: $20.00 per hour.
