These positions start at $22.15/hr (with $1/hr shift premium for 2nd shift positions).
Job Description
These positions are responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. They may work in any department of this meat‑processing facility, including shipping, receiving, or production. Proficiency in reading and writing, ability to complete on‑the‑job paperwork, and effective communication across all management levels are required.
Physical Requirements
Willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach as required in all areas.
Stand 8–10 hours on hard floors.
Perform repetitive motions as required in many areas.
Work in a cold, damp environment.
Work on slippery walking surfaces.
Requirements
Must have 3 months experience (can be with multiple employers but must add up to 3 months).
Prefer 3 months of forklift experience.
Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
