On Site Dispatcher PACE Program Outpatient

Job Summary
Using effective communication skills, serves customers by answering or referring telephone inquiries and/or assisting the customer in person to support participant transport needs. Serves as a point of contact for PACE Transportation, PACE Operations, PACE Electronic Medical Record and the transportation/dispatch software system. Able to function as a backup driver to the PACE Transportation Team.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; none NC Driver's License, BLS, First Aid Class B CDL with P Endorsement; demonstrated computer literacy and experience with web-based programs and MS Office Suite.
One to two years of experience working in customer relations or other public contact field.
One year experience working with and/or transporting the frail and elderly.
Preferred Experience: Previous dispatch experience
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 15 days of employment start date.
First Aid Basic must be obtained within 15 days of employment start date.
Drivers License must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
High School Graduate / GED.
