Responsibilities
Leads and coordinates the execution of operations support activities across production and materials functions. Provides day‑to‑day direction, prioritization, and oversight for Operations Support Coordinators to ensure timely and accurate completion of operational tasks.
Acts as the primary point of coordination for production support processes, including production router management, training tracking and execution support, and production record accuracy. Monitors workload distribution, resolves execution gaps, and ensures consistency in processes and data integrity.
Partners with cross‑functional teams (production, materials, engineering, quality, EHS) to align operational priorities, support scheduling and planning activities, and drive execution of day‑to‑day operations.
Contributes to and may lead process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, data accuracy, and quality performance, including identifying process gaps, coordinating cross‑functional solutions, and supporting implementation of improvements in partnership with Operations Management and Quality personnel.
Supports onboarding execution through coordination of site activities such as facility tours and introductory sessions, ensuring new employees are effectively integrated into operations.
Utilizes manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP/PLM) and Microsoft Excel not only to track but also to analyze operational data, identify trends, and drive process improvements.
Operates with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of processes, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Requires a minimum of 6+ years of related experience in manufacturing, operations support, or a similar environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to coordinate or lead work processes or teams.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data analysis).
Strong systems aptitude (ERP/PLM).
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across functions.
