Overview
Piedmont Eastside is a 310-bed, multi-campus system of care offering comprehensive medical and surgical programs including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, robotic surgery, rehabilitation, maternity with neonatal intensive care, behavioral health, bariatric, urgent care, and 24-hour emergency care at two locations.
Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating patient flow and the delivery of patient care for patients in the CV area during the shift, providing clinical care as needed, and serving as a liaison for patients, visitors, families, physicians, other hospital departments, and external ancillary services. Communicates patient care, departmental, and staff issues to the appropriate authority.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required
Associates Degree in health-related field Required
Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of two years experience in clinical practice with demonstrated clinical competency in Cath lab or EP lab, leadership qualities, effective communication skills and ability to demonstrate initiative and exercise independent judgment.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law
Current license/certification/registry in the profession in the State of Georgia. Qualifying credentials may be any of the following as appropriate for the area:
Registered Nurse (RN)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
Registered Radiologic Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist (RT-CI)
Radiologic Cardiovascular Technologist (RT-CV)
Radiologic Technologist (RT-R)
Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
National Registered Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (NREMT-P)
Echo Sonographer
Vascular Sonographer (Sonographers may be credentialed through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
Exercise Physiologist
