
Project/Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Project/Design Engineer to support our growing portfolio of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality roadway designs for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), as well as executing civil engineering tasks for local municipalities in South Texas and across the state.
Key Responsibilities Develop detailed roadway designs, 3D models, and construction layouts utilizing Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
Prepare Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) and schematic designs for various TxDOT transportation projects.
Produce civil design plans for municipal projects, including street reconstruction, drainage, and utility improvements.
Ensure all design work strictly complies with TxDOT manuals, standard specifications, and local city design criteria.
Coordinate with project managers, CAD technicians, and other engineering disciplines to ensure timely project delivery.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Proven, hands‑on experience using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) in a production environment.
Working knowledge of TxDOT design standards and standard municipal engineering practices.
