Child Placement Coordinator
to serve
Craven, Pamlico, and Jones counties in North Carolina . In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting children and families involved in foster care by coordinating placements, services, and supports that lead to stability, safety, and positive outcomes.
Work Schedule:
Part-Time, Monday-Fri, 20-25 hours per week (varying schedule, some evenings).
Responsibilities
Coordinate admission and discharge planning with contracted agencies, including completing all required documentation prior to placement.
Conduct an initial in-person visit with each child within 48 hours of placement and provide ongoing weekly supervision of foster homes through in-person visits.
Facilitate person-centered planning and Child and Family Team meetings.
Develop initial and ongoing revisions of person-centered plans and monitor implementation to ensure services meet identified needs.
Advocate for personal outcomes for children and families while adhering to best practices.
Link children, adolescents, and families to additional community services, arrange referrals, and complete applications as needed.
Supervise and monitor service delivery through home and community visits to ensure compliance with state, local, and ESPH standards.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly rate of $22.30 – $23.30, based on experience.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a Human Services–related field.
Must meet North Carolina Qualified Professional (QP) requirements for Child Mental Health Services, including a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing mental health services to children.
Previous experience in foster care and/or teaching preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to advocate effectively for children and families.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
