Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Overview
Structural Component Systems, Inc. (SCS) in Fremont, NE is hiring full-time Forklift Operators. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday with no weekends. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with increases every 6 months based on performance.
Responsibilities
Operate a multidirectional lift (Hyundai) or counterbalance forklift to pick loose material orders in the warehouse.
Operate forklift in tight quarters and navigate the 50+ acre site; handle lumber, panels, hardware, engineered wood products (EWP) and other items as assigned.
Unload incoming trucks and railcars as needed.
Maintain neat organization and cleanliness of assigned areas.
Load products onto flatbed trailers and ensure items are damage-free; accurately load items listed on load sheets and record lumber in racks.
Assist in other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 101 lbs occasionally; regular lifting of 25-50 lbs; forklift work predominates on some roles.
Detail-oriented and precise; able to operate forklift in tight quarters.
Prior forklift certification preferred.
Good organizational skills; ability to read and write English preferred but not required; strong communication skills.
Warehouse experience.
Work Environment
Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Safe lifting up to 105 pounds.
