Job Description Summary
Class A CDL Driver
Responsibilities
As a Class A CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite. You will generally drive a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in a variety of settings – urban, suburban and rural. You must be able to drive safely in tight construction zones.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL and an acceptable driver’s record
Prior training or experience with similar commercial equipment (preferred)
Experience driving flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers
Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites
Customer service attitude
Physical Demands
Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more; work both indoors and outdoors as required.
Compensation
Base Pay Range: $25.71 – $38.56. Starting rate may vary based on location, education, training and/or experience.
