Behavior Technician
to join our team at our program in
MT PLEASANT, PA.
No Experience Required – We Provide PAID Training.
Earn $18.50/hour. Monday–Friday Full School Day 8:30am–3:15pm.
As a Behavior Technician you will work one on one in our school setting, and help autistic/emotional support students achieve their academic and behavioral goals following each child’s IEP and PBSP. Your dedication and empathy will help our students learn in a trauma-informed environment. In this role, you will be part of a team where you can have fun and be an integral part of our students’ development.
Responsibilities
Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation.
Provide behavioral and physical interventions as needed, ranging from simple prompting and guided transport up to physical restraint of client.
Monitor client performance and record relevant data to assess progress.
Accompany and assist client(s)/student(s) with activities and daily living, including toileting and grooming.
Collaborate with families and the team for continuity of care.
Implement and follow through with client/student behavior plan and individualized reinforcement systems for assigned client.
Complete required training(s) as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
