Working as Part‑time Shipping, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout our distribution center. You will be responsible for organizing all outgoing orders, loading product into trucks by hand, pallet jack, or by forklift. This is an entry‑level position based out of our distribution center located at 2456 Commerce Park Dr, Orlando, FL 32819. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
Responsibilities
Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
Inspecting product for damage and documenting discrepancies
Sorting product into correct locations
Stacking product efficiently
Consolidating, loading and unloading shipments
Utilizing load truck reports to locate product for outgoing shipments
Ensuring proper load securement for transport
Verifying product is correctly labeled for easy identification and delivery
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
Required Position Qualifications
18 years of age or over, due to the nature of work
Proficient written and oral communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Highly motivated, self‑directed and customer‑service oriented
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Work independently as well as in a team environment
