This part‑time position provides hands‑on HR and office administration support for our Fort Worth manufacturing facility. The role is ideal for an experienced HR professional seeking meaningful part‑time work, flexibility, and the opportunity to be a trusted on‑site resource.
Schedule
Approximately 16–20 hours per week
Flexibility
Workdays and daily hours can be scheduled flexibly, with an expectation of at least four days per week to support employees and operations. Occasional schedule adjustments may be required to support hiring or HR deadlines.
Responsibilities
Human Resources Support
Provide administrative HR support for hourly workforce changes (new hires, terminations, job changes)
Support recruiting efforts including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, background checks, and onboarding/orientation
Assist supervisors with employee relations documentation and basic HR guidance
Track employee leaves (STD, WC, maternity) and support return‑to‑work coordination
Support benefits administration including new hire enrollments and annual enrollment activities
Health & Safety Support
Act as the local administrative resource for workplace health and safety
Support record keeping, reporting, and compliance activities in coordination with leadership
Reporting & HR Data
Prepare routine HR reports and metrics (headcount, safety, staffing activity)
Office & Reception Support
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and calls
Coordinate mail, supplies, basic purchasing, and vendor services (e.g., janitorial)
Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Abilities Required
University degree or College diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3+ years Human Resources experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of HR administration and employee documentation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part‑time schedule.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to deliver complex information to a very diverse audience.
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and employee documentation.
Ability to be creative and approach issues at various angles.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive issues.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
