Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor is a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. This role involves overseeing day‑to‑day activities, managing a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and safely. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the Warehouse Leadership to implement strategies that improve productivity and accuracy in inventory management. This position requires a proactive leader who can motivate the team, solve problems on the floor, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Hire, train, and manage warehouse employees, ensuring engagement and accountability.
Manage onboarding and ensure completion of all training tasks.
Support retention through positive engagement and development; perform ride‑alongs and work‑withs to coach and support drivers.
Ensure team members complete all required training and certifications and adhere to company policies and safety protocols.
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of products.
Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Resolve inventory discrepancies and optimize slotting assignments to maintain operational efficiency.
Track and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Implement corrective actions to address operational challenges and improve overall performance.
Communicate progress and results to Warehouse Leadership and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
Ability to work independently, be self‑managed and motivated to meet deadlines.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations management experience.
Previous forklift certification and experience is desired.
