Staff Accountant
What You Bring Here
A highly collaborative, results-orientated staff accountant with overall general accounting experience including calculating and recording monthly accruals, processing customer credits, assisting with vendor setups, and reconciling/analyzing various general ledger accounts. Assigned responsibilities will involve several of the primary business accounting processes: procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, payroll, and fixed assets. This position must understand and comply with the Company’s key controls over financial close and reporting.
What You Will Be Doing
Calculate assigned monthly accruals, including analyzing actual period expenses.
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
Contribute to business results by working cross-functionally with teams, especially Region Finance personnel.
Contribute to creating standardized accounting processes and procedures across the consolidating entities of Trulite.
Assist in preparation for annual audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Master's degree a plus
Active CPA a plus
1-2 years of overall general accounting experience
Experience with multi-entities in more than one state
Understanding of GAAP application
Comprehensive understanding and direct experience with monthly close processes
Strong quantitative analytical skills
Strong personal computer skills, including advanced proficiency with MS Office software, particularly Excel (vlookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables, text-to-columns, etc.)
Experience working with PE companies a plus
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus (similar ERP to Oracle)
Ability to drive results through persistence, self-motivation, energy, tenacity, follow-through, and commitment
Excellent organizational skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
Fosters teamwork and demonstrates integrity
Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness
