Position Overview
Position Title: Business Manager

Location: Doña Ana Community College

Salary: $59,965.78 – $76,455.95, commensurate with qualifications.

Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8‑5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Provide data analysis and reporting of institutional financial activity.

Provide support and oversight of Cashiers Office, including training and support.

Provide training and support on business office processes and procedures.

Serve as liaison for financial and budgetary support to academic and administrative leaders at DACC.

Process and approve financial transactions.

Ensure compliance with University, NMHED, state, and federal laws, policies, and regulations.

Serve as support and backup for AVPBF and VPBF.

Serve as liaison to key external partners including NMSU System Offices.

Collaborate with leadership across DACC campuses on system‑wide institutional priorities.

Provide leadership to all Business & Finance units on the implementation of strategic initiatives in support of the college’s strategic plan.

Represent the college at various functions.

Attend, participate, and/or facilitate internal and external meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience: Associate’s Degree + 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree or Higher Preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average‑weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.

Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
