Hospitalist Director needed in Palm Beach County

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Hospitalist Director at Medical Center, located in Palm Beach, FL. The Hospitalist Director will oversee the hospitalist team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, leading quality improvement initiatives, scheduling and staffing the hospitalist program, and collaborating with other departments to optimize patient care. The role requires active participation in clinical care, mentorship of staff, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.

Position is 80% clinical and 20% administrative

MUST have documented leadership experience

Manage a team of 12 hospitalists and additional nurse practitioners; will oversee the program in charge of quality

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience with the ability to mentor and guide a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in operational management, program development, and implementing quality improvement measures
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Experience in hospital medicine, with a proven track record of delivering high standards of patient care
