
Warehouse Personnel - 2nd Shift

Who will you be working with?
L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of Mesabi cooling and heat transfer solutions custom‑made for heavy equipment in the mining, oil, gas, construction, and heavy industrial industries. We are looking for an individual to join our warehouse team. This position will work directly with the warehouse supervisor, warehouse employees, and employees throughout the plant as directed.
The work schedule for this position is Monday‑Friday 2pm‑10pm.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for expediting orders to the shop and maintaining inventory control. We are looking for individuals of all skill levels and are willing to train. This role is vital in helping the flow of production move as smoothly as possible by ensuring orders are received and accurately counted and recorded.
What do we want to know about you?
18 years or older
High school diploma or GED with 1 year of work experience
Driver's License required
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Forklift experience
What will your typical day look like?
Put up orders for shop
Keep inventory control and documentation
Unload vendor supplies, put unloaded items in proper storage areas, and record receivables and documents
Keep the warehouse and parts cage clean and orderly
Notify Quality Personnel of receivables
Order day‑to‑day requirements from purchasing and make purchase requisitions
Manually ensure accurate counts of shipments
Coordinate with shipping clerk to expedite shipments
Assist in other areas of production as needed if qualified
Performs work in a safe manner and follows all safety guidelines and procedure
Domestic and international travel required and could include weekend travel depending on the project
Performs related work and other duties as required by supervisor
What about the physical demands of the job?
Wear correct PPE – earplugs, protective eye wear, steel‑toed boots, and work‑provided uniform (gloves when necessary)
Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Stand on concrete for 8‑10 hours
Work in high heat conditions
Practice and maintain safe work conditions
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for Entry Level
Basic knowledge of steel materials and bolts
Material handling & packaging
Good organizer, thorough and detail oriented
Use of hand tools
Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and semi loads
Use various measuring devices
Work and communicate effectively with others
Understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions
Self‑motivated, work with little supervision
Knowledge and proficiency of math skills
Must have good computer skills and be knowledgeable in MS Excel
English communication, both verbal and written essential
Ability to pass a pre‑employment written math test, physical, drug and background test
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Epicor, Ultimate software or similar ERP system.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
This role is also eligible for a performance bonus.
The salary rate for this role is currently $21.00‑29.00/hour. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
