
Utility Systems Repairer-Operator Leader.

Duties and responsibilities of the Utility Systems Repairer-Operator Leader include performing a variety of technical and leadership duties within the zone under the general supervision of the Utility Systems Repairer-Operator (USRO) Supervisor.
In This Position, You Will
Participate and assure compliance with OSHEM and OFMR safety programs.
Ensure team members receive appropriate training and exercise safe, productive work habits, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Estimate labor and materials costs from work orders.
Maintain continuous operation and monitor the Direct Digital Control (DDC) System to control the building’s automated physical plant and related equipment.
Lead and instruct coworkers on complex work operations and review work in progress to suggest necessary adjustments in plans and assignments.
Requirements
Pass a pre‑employment background investigation.
May need to complete a probationary period.
Maintain a bank account for direct deposit or electronic transfer.
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must be registered with Selective Service.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the physical ability to perform moderately heavy work, including lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs., working outdoors in all weather conditions with exposure to dirt, dust, pollen, and insects, climbing ladders and stairs, and standing and walking for extended periods.
Must possess a current EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification and a valid state driver’s license.
Must be available to work any of the assigned shifts and/or workdays that include holidays, weekends, and call‑back emergencies.
