Overview
Youth First's mission is to strengthen youth and families through evidence-based programs that prevent substance abuse, promote healthy behaviors, and maximize student success.
Purpose
The Creative Content Specialist is responsible for supporting Youth First's visual presence and effectively raising Youth First's profile in the community. Uses creative vision to tell stories that support the organization's brand and strategic initiatives while protecting brand integrity.
Reports To
Director of Marketing
Responsibilities
Visual Storytelling: Produce appealing and engaging multimedia content including images, videos, graphics, presentations, and print materials to complement brand strategy, promote events and program/service offerings. Partner with the Marketing Director to execute integrated marketing campaigns by translating messaging into compelling visual content.
Brand Stewardship: Ensure creative assets adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity. Assist with evolving brand visuals as needed.
Manage Design Assets: Develop new and update existing branded templates. Maintain organized library of photos, videos, and design files.
Video & Photography Production: Capture and edit video content highlighting impact stories, program outcomes, and community investment. Conduct on-site photography at schools, events, and check presentations.
Vendor Coordination: Support collaboration with external printers, photographers, etc., as needed.
Cross Departmental Support: Collaborate across departments to develop tools that support program delivery, fundraising, internal comms, events, and organizational initiatives. Provide guidance to internal teams on appropriate branding, templates, and visual best practices.
Marketing Platform Support: Support content formatting and optimization across platforms including website, email, and social media.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience producing high-quality multimedia content.
Demonstrated experience creating visual content for integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, print).
Proficiency in design and content tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro).
Proficiency with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
Working knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
Familiarity with social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. and visual best practices for each.
Expertise in photography and video editing, with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
Ability to handle sensitive subject matter (youth mental health, substance use) with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
