
Securities Services Operations Associate Sr

Overview
The Senior Securities Services Operations Associate is part of the Corporate Trust Bond Operations team, which provides operational support to UMB's Corporate Trust department. The team interacts with clients and internal partners to evaluate and process requests for onboarding of new business, process payment transactions, and other duties as assigned. The team delivers a high level of service in a fast-paced environment and supports a variety of bond- and shareholder-system related duties.
Responsibilities
Process a variety of duties for bond issues in the shareholder system, with a focus on bond setup, proper coding of accounts and holder information, processing DWAC transfers, and general maintenance of the shareholder system.
Monitor incoming requests and maintain speed and accuracy while supporting a large number of internal and external clients.
Assist with peer review and learn multiple functions within the team.
Apply problem-solving skills to determine required actions to ensure bond issue payments are made timely and accurately.
Utilize strong communication skills to create a positive client experience and maintain attention to detail for certificate registrations and payments.
Qualifications
2-3 years of financial services or banking experience OR a college degree.
Work Environment & Schedule
Hybrid role with time spent remote and in the office.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation range: $33,920.00 – $65,380.00. The posted range represents UMB’s standard for this role; actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other factors. This range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
