
Community Habilitation Counselor: Part Time Queens & Long Island

Overview
Positions are available in Queens, Nassau & Suffolk Counties with shifts ranging from 4 - 16 hours per week. Shifts are usually late afternoon to early evening during the week and a few hours on Saturday or Sunday.
Qualifications
You must have a valid NY State or out of state driver's license and a HS diploma/GED to be considered for this position. Most of the cases require that you have your own vehicle to use while working the case.
Compensation
The pay rate for this position is
$19.00-$20.42
per hour (or higher, depending on years of experience working in NYS OPWDD programs).
Responsibilities
Participation in the training and supervision of the individual while incorporating the use of community resources.
Maintain ongoing communication with the Community Habilitation Coordinator and attend scheduled meetings for discussions when necessary.
