Job Overview
The incumbent will serve as a strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to assigned business areas at Mercedes‑Benz Financial Services, Fort Worth. This role partners closely with leaders to align people strategies with business objectives, ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws, proactively address employee relations and organizational design needs, and support workforce planning and change initiatives. The position actively promotes Mercedes‑Benz as an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational management with information, assistance and guidelines needed to comply with global and local HR policies, federal and state employment laws.
Advise on reasonable courses of action for employee relations issues including conflict management, performance management, coaching, policy interpretation, disciplinary action and terminations.
Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent strategy to support current and future business needs.
Provide guidance and recommendations regarding organizational structure and design, headcount changes, job banding, and development of job descriptions. Maintain position management in HRIS and corporate organizational charts.
Support leaders through organizational change initiatives such as restructures, process changes and cultural transformations.
Investigate sexual harassment, hostile work environment, workplace violence and discrimination claims. Support BPO and Corporate Security teams as needed.
Coordinate employment‑related legal action, representing the Company, negotiating and minimizing potential liability.
Monitor emerging HR practices, legal trends and state or federal law changes and update policies accordingly.
Analyze and leverage HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with Shared Services HR colleagues on policies and compliance initiatives, and with Training and Development teams to ensure employee training meets changing business, legal and social requirements.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Administration knowledge of administrative procedures, process/project development, and system procedures.
Business – general knowledge of fundamental business practices that impact success and profitability.
Business Management knowledge of principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership and HR management.
Human Resources knowledge of compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment and HRIS procedures.

PHR or SPHR is a plus but not required.
Additional Information
Must be able to work flexible hours/work schedule.
Hybrid work arrangement (primarily onsite).
