Direct Source Meats is now hiring for a Portion Cutter at the Albuquerque location.
Direct Source Meats offers stability with long-term, full-time employment. Direct Source Meats offers high quality, specialty meat products to customers. Established in 2001, DSM's raw plant is a 30,000 square foot USDA facility that specializes in the further processing of beef, chicken and pork for both retail and food service markets. DSM also includes a state of the art, 60,000 square foot cook plant.
Responsibilities
The Portion Cutter is responsible for cutting, trimming and portioning various cuts of steaks and other meat products. This job requires precision and knowledge of different meat muscles and adherence of strict food safety and quality standards to ensure products meet customer specifications. Must be proficient in using hand knives and able to work in a refrigerated environment (40-45 degrees) for long periods of time. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am - Finish.
