Talent Acquisition Intern
Location: Danbury, CT
The TA Intern will support the Talent Acquisition team during the transition into a new Applicant Tracking System. This role will play a critical part in ensuring job requisitions and candidates are accurately reviewed, migrated, and tracked throughout the transition period. The intern will work closely with recruiters, HR partners, and system administrators to help maintain data accuracy, consistency, and process continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Gain a full understanding of the Linde gas & equipment recruitment cycle
Review open requisitions in Taleo to ensure data accuracy and completeness prior to migration
Assist with entering and recreating job requisitions in Cornerstone based on approved hiring requests
Validate job details including titles, locations, cost centers, hiring managers, and posting information
Track requisition movement and status during the migration process using Excel or shared trackers
Partner with recruiters to identify requisitions that need to be moved early versus closed in Taleo
Perform data checks to ensure requisitions are correctly approved and posted in Cornerstone
Support documentation of transition steps, job aids, and process notes
Assist with ad hoc reporting and administrative tasks related to the ATS transition
Escalate data discrepancies or system issues to the Talent Acquisition team as needed
Conduct a final presentation at the conclusion of the Intern Program
Assist recruiters with building campus partnerships
Provide support to Talent Acquisition Coordinators as needed

Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Proficiency with Excel and data tracking
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in recruiting operations, HR systems, or HR technology
Advanced experience with Excel including analyzing large datasets, automating logic, cleaning data, and complex lookups
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or HR platforms (Taleo, Cornerstone, or similar) is a plus
Work Environment
