Overview
Warehouse Associate at Technipaq, Cary, IL. 1st Shift: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday–Friday.
Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks.
Prepare orders for shipment and move products from floors to appropriate locations.
Put away used materials and maintain general cleanliness of warehouse areas.
Supply production areas with materials to meet customer ship dates; track on-hand inventory to ensure fulfillment of orders.
Support material demands by filling allocation sheets submitted to the warehouse.
Assist in loading/unloading trucks and preparing shipments as needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of accident-free sit-down forklift operation required.
2+ years experience with shipping/receiving, including loading/unloading materials with a forklift, reading and creating shipping labels, etc.
Experience moving product from floor to shelving units up to 5 levels high with a forklift; experience picking from stacked shelving and delivering to machines with forklift.
Experience inventory counting and using RF scanners.
Ability to repetitively lift 35–60 pounds from floor to shoulder and 10–35 pounds from shoulder to overhead; push 200–400 pounds with cart, hand truck, or pallet jack.
Ability to measure and interpret measurements up to 1/16 of an inch using rulers; basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Ability to work independently and reliably; basic keyboard/data entry skills; able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Additional Skills (A Plus)
Experience with automatic shrink wrapping.
Experience with balers.
Experience with FedEx, UPS, and World Ship.
