Schedule:
7/7 Rotational; 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Tuesday Night – Tuesday Morning); 84 hours per week;
Target Pay Rate:
$43.45/hr
Position Overview
The Night Field Operator is responsible for maintaining assigned leases during night operations. This role requires strong
flowback and lease operating experience , with the ability to understand full facility flow paths, troubleshoot and resolve equipment alarms, and maintain production continuity with limited supervision. Candidates must be self-starters who can diagnose issues through remote surveillance tools and develop a corrective action plan prior to arriving onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain assigned leases during night operations
Understand complete flow path of oil & gas production facilities
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment alarms
Diagnose issues using remote surveillance systems
Develop action plans prior to site arrival
Multitask between multiple issues while keeping production online
Maintain detailed operational logs and shift notes
Follow Permit To Work System (PTWS) procedures
Promote and adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental standards
Support teamwork between shift personnel
Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills
Required Experience
5–7 years minimum Oil & Gas industry experience
Strong flowback experience (required)
Strong lease operating experience (required)
Experience maintaining tank batteries and production facilities
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Night operations experience preferred
Skills & Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma required
Associate’s degree or technical training preferred
General Technical Skills
Strong understanding of oil & gas facility flow paths
Familiar with general oil & gas production operations
Specific Technical Skills
Meets company safety and technical training roadmap requirements
Knowledge of Operations Integrity critical competencies
Competent with:
Microsoft Office
Email communication
Computer surveillance/monitoring systems
