Immediate opening for a Projects Scheduler in Oak Ridge, TN, responsible for managing technical activities to ensure timely and efficient project completion in compliance with government and plant directives.
The role involves planning, coordinating, and directing project activities, providing leadership in scheduling, monitoring, configuration control, analysis, and reporting across multiple complex projects. The scheduler supports project managers by developing cost, schedule, and risk plans, tracking performance data, and forecasting estimates to complete.
Key responsibilities include managing scope changes, integrating cost and schedule data with accounting systems, and ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule. The position requires interaction with internal and external stakeholders, strong communication skills, and experience with control systems like Earned Value Management.
Qualifications include a BS degree and 10-20 years of experience, with the ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance.
