Job Description
Domino’s Assistant Manager oversees all store operations during a shift, including cost controls, inventory and cash management, customer relations, staffing, paperwork, and adherence to company policies. The role requires setting a strong example for team members and driving the company’s marketing and profitability objectives.

Responsibilities
Responsible for everything that happens during the shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Set the example by following all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from crew.
Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, perfect image, adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance & punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co‑workers to process orders both in person and over the phone.
Perform required job duties such as driving for delivery, delivering flyers, and door hangers.
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (may use calculator).
Capability to make correct monetary change.
Strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.
Ability to enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Navigation skills to read a map and locate addresses within a designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
Hands‑on ability: grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
Physical fitness to lift, bend, reach, climb, and walk as required by job duties.
Physical Demands
Carrying: carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
Driving: deliver pizzas within a designated area, making several deliveries per shift.
Walking: travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
Climbing: navigate five or more flights of stairs may be required.
Exposure to varying weather conditions while delivering product, driving, and couponing.
Work environment exposures: temperature variations (36–90°F and above), food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
