
People & Culture Manager

Responsibilities
Interview and refer qualified applicants to Department Heads and Division Heads.
Maintain complete files for all current and terminated employees.
Document information for payroll purposes, including new hire details, wage changes and termination records.
Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all employees.
Keep accurate records for insurance enrollment and file all claims.
Conduct exit interviews.
Maintain files of qualified applicants for future positions.
Assist with employee relations activities such as direct line committee organization, employee newsletters, employee of the month program, and company events.
Update wage surveys for other hotels in the city.
Maintain the job posting system and turnover log.
Maintain employee transfer request files.
Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the hotel bulletin boards.
Send insurance report lists to payroll and insurance carriers.
Prepare monthly reporting lists for Department Heads, Division Heads, Sales/Catering, and Direct Placement to the home office.
Operate the People & Culture office in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director.
Maintain professionalism, integrity and confidentiality in the office.
Respond appropriately to hotel emergencies or safety situations.
Perform other tasks or projects assigned by hotel management and staff.
Qualifications
Minimum three years of experience in Human Resources Management.
Hospitality Management or Human Resources degree preferred but not essential if relevant experience is provided.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule—including evenings, weekends and holidays—as needed for the role.
Some travel may be required.
Legal work authorization in the United States.

Salary
$85,000.00 - $90,000.00
