Job Description
As our

Customer Service Representative , you’ll help patients check into the hospital. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, answering questions during registration, collecting information accurately and quickly, and listening with compassion to address patient fears, concerns, and questions.

Responsibilities

Operate computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment, working across multiple screens and entering details accurately between physician and nurse check‑ins.

Assist patients who may be ill or worried, listening carefully to ease anxiety, asking follow‑up questions, and building rapport in real time.

Work quickly in a fast‑paced environment, often on your feet, handling variation in health plans and coverage and adapting to unexpected situations.

Collaborate with a supportive team that supports career development at R1 RCM Inc.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Excellent customer service experience.

Confident multitasker with quick learning of technology and typing skills.

Prepared to see illness and injuries in a hospital/lab environment.

Up‑to‑date vaccinations, and pass a drug test and background check prior to hire.

Compensation
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $15.00 - $21.10 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
