Overview
Akkodis is seeking a CAD Technician for a contract job with a client in Muscatine, Iowa. Ideally looking for a hands-on CAD Technician who can independently handle piping and mechanical design work for a manufacturing plant. Background in the Aerospace, Aviation, or Automotive industry would be a big plus.

Muscatine IA 52761 (Onsite)
Duration
12 months contract
Pay
Pay Range: $50 - $60/hr on contract (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Requirements
Strong AutoCAD experience (hands-on drafting + piping layouts)
Experience in piping/mechanical design (plant or industrial environment)
Ability to work independently + create construction-ready drawings
REFERRED Requirements
Experience with Leica point cloud / field surveying
Knowledge of industry codes (OSHA, ASME, etc.)
Manufacturing or process plant experience (pumps, heat exchangers, piping systems)
