
Deposit Pricing & Analytics Manager

The Deposit Pricing & Analytics Analyst will work cross functionally with partners to accelerate balance and customer acquisition, manage balance retention, and ensure the competitive positioning of deposit products across multiple geographies. This position will support in the creation, maintenance, and execution of deposit rate strategies for the Consumer and Business portfolios, including development and management of pricing elasticity models to support balance growth and desired net interest margins. The analyst will collaborate with key bank partners, including line of business leadership, marketing, technology, enterprise project management, compliance, and finance.
Additionally, the analyst will participate in the execution of projects to support enhancements, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
Essential Functions
Develop and manage deposit pricing models to optimize rate and marketing activities, allowing the bank to grow at the lowest overall cost and monitor competitive landscape.
Assist in managing overall net interest margin for the organization, partnering with Retail, Business, Commercial Lines, and Treasury to find the optimal pricing point.
Execute short‑term rate tactics, support development of new product and rate concepts, and develop long‑term product pricing and rate strategies.
Support development and management of end‑to‑end bank exception rate processes.
Partner with stakeholders to execute on all rate change implementations.
Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to support product vision, recommend design/functionality based on customer value, growth, and business outcomes, and work with marketing and sales to execute.
Align with internal stakeholders on customer and market research and analytics to achieve current year objectives.
Manage third‑party relationships, including Curinos, for competitive insights, model development, and deployment.
Research customer segments served by Northwest Bank's products, conduct market assessments, and recommend actions to increase share of wallet and market share.
Support development of annual and strategic financial plans for deposit portfolio.
Create general ad‑hoc analysis within the deposit portfolio.
Maintain internal controls standards, including audit points, to satisfy regulator requirements efficiently and effectively.
Support vendor‑management responsibilities.
Monitor portfolio trends including P&L, balances, fee income, attrition, and provide recommendations for enhancements or corrective action when actuals deviate from expectations.
Work closely with Treasury to support overall bank funding.
Risk Management
Understand the first line of defense, risk management roles, and responsibilities.
Apply knowledge of U.S. retail deposit account regulations, payments, and digital banking services (Regulation DD, Truth in Savings, Regulation E, Regulation CC) to ensure compliance, risk management, and proper regulatory reporting.
Have working knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC.
Ensure adherence to compliance as it pertains to products, services, delivery, and management of deposit products and overall portfolio.
Additional Essential Functions
Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and federal/state regulations.
Navigate Microsoft Office and other department‑specific software to maximize technology tool usage and efficiency.
Work as part of a team and with on‑site equipment.
Additional Responsibilities
Complete other duties and special projects as requested by management.
Abide by the safety and loss prevention program rules and perform work tasks in a safe manner.
Report any and all injuries to supervisor.
Know what to do in case of an emergency.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Work Experience : 8–12 years in deposit pricing, rate analytics, and modeling.
