
Customer Service Representative--Industrial Store

Responsibilities
Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
Answer telephone calls promptly
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
Sell welding and safety products and services to customers
Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
Research products needed for customer special applications
Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation
Keep sales literature current and organized
Keep accurate cash till and run daily cash reports
Answer customer calls and transfer customers if they need service from someone else
Stock shelves when needed
Communicate with Purchasing Department regarding any special order needs
Issue product sales quotes to customers
Load products into customer vehicle
Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
Perform other tasks as assigned or needed
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
