Assistant Controller
to join our client’s team in
Tampa, FL . This is an
Onsite (Direct Hire)
position.
SALARY:
$130,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements
CPA certification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
At least 3 years of people management experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 in a SaaS environment
Responsibilities
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables
Manage daily accounting operations across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses
Ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and timely
Implement and maintain internal controls, addressing process gaps
Coordinate external audits, preparing schedules and documentation
Research and apply accounting guidance, escalating complex issues
Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team
Collaborate with FP&A and business leaders to support financial processes
