Our client, a well-established and growing organization in Northwest Houston, is ready to hire an experienced Benefits Administrator to join their Human Resources team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the benefits function, working with employees, and partnering with vendors to ensure a smooth and positive benefits experience.
Key Responsibilities
Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and related plans
Manage monthly benefit billing, reconciliations, and reporting
Support annual open enrollment process from start to finish
Work directly with benefit providers and brokers to resolve issues and improve service
Handle COBRA administration, Workers? Compensation, and unemployment claims
Educate employees on benefit options and answer day‑to‑day questions
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Assist with other HR‑related projects and support functions as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Benefits Administration experience in a mid‑size company environment
Experience working with self‑funded benefits plans required
Strong Excel skills including spreadsheets, reporting, and data management
Experience with benefits reconciliations and vendor billing
Strong communication and customer service skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
