Job Description
The Retail Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as a business partner by supporting hourly recruitment and hiring efforts for our stores in the Paint Stores Group (PSG) Division for the Eastern Division. This position will execute hourly recruitment strategy to meet business and hiring needs, provide full life‑cycle recruitment and sourcing support to ensure a best‑in‑class candidate experience.

This role is not remote or hybrid. The selected candidate will report to one of our district offices located in Charleston, WV; Allentown, PA; or King of Prussia, PA.

Responsibilities
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage a high‑volume requisition load, primarily consisting of repeatable and fully templated, non‑exempt, individual contributor positions.

Full Cycle Recruitment

Create and post job requisitions on time and compliantly.

Screen candidates to evaluate if candidates meet criteria of the role.

Schedule interviews – coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.

Negotiate job offers and compensation packages with candidates.

Support the background check and pre‑hire process when needed.

Candidate Attraction

Identify new and creative opportunities for attracting candidates.

Use various sourcing channels and networks to source and attract candidates.

Adhere to established brand guidelines.

Plan and execute events and outreach efforts.

Business Connectivity + Relationship Management

Partner with HR, hiring managers, and other business partners to determine staffing needs.

Keep candidates and business partners informed – communicate necessary updates early and often.

Provide recruitment training, resources, and best practices to partners as needed.

Advancing Talent Acquisition Objectives + Goals

Own the data – use systems and tools appropriately to build trust and accuracy in Talent Acquisition reporting.

Track staffing information and updates.

Understand and regularly share Talent Acquisition metrics with business partners.

Work with peers and colleagues to ensure process standards and best practices are leveraged.

Identify and share process improvement ideas to ensure an efficient and positive recruitment process experience.

Ensure compliance with all local rules, laws, and regulations.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Administrative and planning skills with demonstrated ability to establish priorities, multi‑task, and follow‑up with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Sociology.

Experience supporting recruitment or HR processes.

Experience in customer service.

Knowledge of the Sherwin‑Williams organization.

Knowledge of recruitment marketing and branding best practices.

Knowledge and understanding of local and relevant legislation impacting recruitment and hiring practices.

Experience using Oracle Recruiting Cloud for applicant tracking.

Experience using Tableau for data analysis and review.
