
Mobile Surgery Assistant

Trek Veterinary Surgery is seeking a motivated and dependable Surgery Assistant to join our fast-paced, surgeon-owned team.
We are a highly efficient mobile surgery service performing an average of 4 cases per day, providing advanced surgical care directly to local veterinary hospitals. Our caseload includes a mix of orthopedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in specialty-level medicine.
Position Overview/Key Responsibilities:
Scrubbing into surgery alongside the surgeon
Floating support, helping drive efficiency and case flow throughout the day
Assisting with patient and OR prep
Surgical instrument handling, pack wrapping and sterilization
Inventory management and equipment maintenance
Coordination with partner hospital staff to keep cases running on time and efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Positive attitude and professionalism when working in partner hospitals
RVT not required
Surgical experience is preferred but not required — we are happy to train the right motivated candidate!
