Warehouse Supervisor

for an industry leading Transportation & Logistics company located in the Reno, NV area. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with one of the top employers in the market.

Job Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates to ensure high performance, engagement, and accountability across all shifts

Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control to meet customer SLAs and company KPIs

Drive productivity and efficiency through labor planning, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives

Monitor and enforce safety standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies

Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper system transactions within the WMS

Collaborate cross-functionally with transportation, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client needs

Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports on productivity, quality, and service levels; implement corrective actions as needed

Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to support skill development and career growth

Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners

Support a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Job Requirements

3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a high-volume warehouse, distribution, or 3PL environment

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, and inventory management processes

Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF technology

Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and meet productivity goals in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on process improvement

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally

Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
