
Maintenance Technician - Hotel Boulderado

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced, and hands‑on Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance in guest units, buildings, and common areas.
Use hand and power tools for repairing and troubleshooting carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.
Repair and install appliances with minimal supervision.
Maintain plumbing systems—pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers, tubs, etc.
Prevent and troubleshoot electrical issues on equipment, fixtures, outlets and switches.
Inspect and perform preventative maintenance in units and public areas.
Report, respond to, and repair safety issues in guest units, buildings, pools, common areas, and equipment.
Complete all daily assignments in a timely manner.
Prioritize work orders, keeping continuous contact with the department and/or the front desk to update jobs completed.
Maintain the property’s appearance by removing trash and debris, mopping spills, cleaning fixtures, watering plants, pressure washing, cutting grass, and removing weeds.
Perform minor plaster repair, blending newly renovated wall surfaces with existing plaster.
Apply wallpaper, paint, sealers, and solvents to exterior and interior surfaces such as plaster, sheetrock, concrete, and wood.
Assist with snow removal.
Assist Valet Department during busy periods with parking and retrieving guest vehicles (must have a clean MVR and pass a 4‑panel drug screen).
Assist Housekeeping as needed (move laundry, vacuum).
Maintain laundry equipment.
Work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
Perform HVAC filter changes, motor and pump lubrication, evaporator and condenser cleaning.
Drive to shop for parts and supplies.
Perform carpet cleaning.
Troubleshoot television and IT issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Minimum of three (3) years in a hotel maintenance position (preferred).
One (1) year of college or trade school in a mechanical, electrical, or technical discipline (preferred but not required).
In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic math skills.
Basic IT skills and knowledge.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
Excellent time‑management skills.
Detail oriented, striving for excellence in all assignments.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move to reach, clean, and service machinery.
